Their unique sound draws on a wide range of stylistic touchstones, whilst avoiding categorizations and comparisons. Rowdy, stomping rhythms shift in an instant to beautiful, uplifting melodies, which are set against dark brooding harmonies. John Sterry's sensitive vocals stand in stark contrast to the often disturbing content of his lyrics.
